Financial aid

At Manchester University, we do everything possible to make sure a quality education is accessible, and we’re known for it. That’s why we’re consistently ranked as a “Best Value” by U.S.News & World Report. We pride ourselves on being a place of affordable excellence and we back that up with great scholarship packages and a focus on outcomes.

Manchester Scholarships

Academic scholarships are awarded to first-time students who meet eligibility criteria regardless of financial need. A student may receive only one Manchester University academic scholarship at a time.  These scholarships are based on:

  • College Prep GPA
  • Class Rank
  • Curriculum
  • Test Score

Scholarships range from $10,000 to $17,000 a year. We re-evaluate this scholarship all the way through graduation, so it is possible to attain a higher scholarship level.  Students should talk to their admissions counselor for further information.

As a guidance counselor, you can be instrumental in helping your students to determine their eligibility for other special awards from Manchester that are based on academic achievement, family connections, leadership and religious affiliation. Students must be admitted to Manchester to be considered for scholarship eligibility, and may apply for any and all scholarships for which they are eligible.

Matching Programs

A student who receives funds for college from his/her church or from the Dollars for Scholars for program also will receive additional funds from Manchester University. Both could be matched up to $500 per year.
